Patty Weaver
Patty Weaver is known for her acting career rather than as a singer. She played on daytime soap opera “Days of Our Lives” from 1976 to 1982 and on “The Young and the Restless” from 1982 to 2009.
Before launching her acting career, Weaver formed the rock 'n roll band the Loved Ones and continued her singing career and released several albums; “Patty Weaver Sings 'As Time Goes By' “ (1976), then, "Feeling" (1976) under RE/SE Records, USA, that features pops masterpiece tunes such as "I Honestly Love You" performed by Olivia Newton John, which were arranged more Jazzy. In 1978, Patty released another album titled "No One's Ever Seen This Side Of Me" under the same label, on which Patty covered Eagles' "Take It To The Limit",Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" and so on.
In 1982, this self-titled album was released on major label; Warner Bros. Records. This is another Steve Barri's excellent producing works in late 1970's or early 1980's. As you easily guess, Robbie Buchanan's arrangement made this album's atmosphere into the same one as that of "Maxus / Maxus". Patty sings emotionally and energetic being supported by awesome Westcoast studo musicians.
