Kenny Marks /Follow Him

0

Detroit native Kenneth Michael Marks, aka Kenny Marks, moved to Nashville around 1978 with his demos when he was 28 years old or so. Almost a year later, Marks knocked the door of Word, the leading CCM label and succeeded to get a deal with Word/Myrth. However it took almost three years before releasing his first album "Follow Him" produced by Keith Thomas. Since then, Kenny Marks was one of the mainstay artists in CCM. His music had Bryan Adams vibe, personally his voice reminds me of Tommy Funderburk's mid 1980's works, i.e. "Front" and "What If". Someone said that his pop tune had same atmosphere as Nielsen-Pearson's one.
