David Garfield, mostly known by his 1980’s project band “Karizma”, created another world with talented musicians and released this album under the name of David Garfield and the Cats.

Looking back Garfield’s career, Chicago born Garfield was recognised by touring and recording with the legendary jazz trumpeter Freddie Hubbard (“Bundle of Joy” released in 1977), whilst he started live gigs with first call session musicians in Los Angeles since he moved there in mid 1970’s when he was twenty years old or so. As mentioned above, his project Karizma was very admired among true music lovers when the first album “Dreams Come True” was released in 1983. Concurrently, Garfield started Los Lobotomy’s project with Steve Lukather in mid 1980’s and released the self-titled first album in 1989. He was also known as George Benson’s musical director from time to time since 1986.
Garfield formed a production company, Creatchy Productions and releasing many of his own solo and various project albums including 1997 “Tribute To Jeff”.
