So Roman Tam is the biggest star by the late 70s Canto Pop scene. Despite he has developed a successful formula in record making, he doesn’t want to follow it.
He has made a concept album with songs on different types of flowers, and for this one, another concept album where he focused on the composer, one of the remaining composers back in shanghai haydays in the 30s.
This album featured songs made from the 30s to the new one made for this album, with the very old Shanghai style arrangement that is definitely not going to sell at the Canto Pop market, while it become classics.
