In 2001, Michael Ruff solo album "Show The World" followed 1999 album "Lovesongs + Lullabies". Compared to "Lovesongs + Lullabies", Michael plays more aggressive and funky. "Show The World" , the title track opens this album with a little bit heavy distorted guitar sound. Bluesy tune "When You Come Home" would follow. "Bring You To Jesus" is very beautiful ballads featuring Olivia Ruff on harmony vocal, whose vocal is very impressive. "Listen To Your Woman" is a Latin-touch one."Standing On The Rock" must remind you of Stevie Wonder. "Testimony" is the killer track for AOR / Blue-eyed soul lovers.
