A blue-eyed soul family band from Redlands, California, the Faragher Brothers is known as the first all-white band to have an appearance on Soul Train. After releasing their self-titled debut album in 1976, they made a 6 week club and small hall tour of the with acts like Tower of Power, and Vicki Sue Robinson in the summer. In the autumn, they were in the studio to record the second album with new producersf Kenny Kerner and Ritchie Wise, known for Gladys Knight and the Pips. Thus, the band released the second album “Family Ties” in 1977.
