Mackey Feary / Touch Sensitive
Mackey Feary, the original voice of Kalapana, left the band in 1977 despite the success of the second album “ Kalapana II” Feary went solo after releasing two albums by his own Mackey Feary Band by 1979 once. In 1980 Feary partnered with vocalist Nohelani Cypriano for the single, "Let's Do It/We Both Waited Too Long". Again Feary formed the new group, Mackey Feary & Nite Life with Kenji Sano
and Maurice Bega, that released an album in 1983.
A year later, Feary started again as a solo artist and released his first completely solo album “Touch Sensitive”. The album featured saxophonist Jerry Martini of Sly & the Family Stone.
