Greg Guidry / Soul'd Out

0

Bouncing back onto the AOR/Westcoast music world, Gregg Guidry came on strong with 11 songs in his familiar style, for Japanese listeners, Cool Sound released "Soul'd Out" in December 2000. "Soul'd Out" had been originally planned to be released under Emerald Records, his own label in 1998 with the alternative track listing. Instead of self-release only in the limited market, Guidry continued to seek for wider distribution possibility and a suitable label and sent out the rough-mix tape of this album with his unreleased collection, which has been released as "Private Session" by Cool Sound Inc., Japan early spring 2000. As a result, Guidry finally found out most suitable label for his then-new album "Soul'd Out" and he decided to revise the track listing to add several old recording materials, "Ball And Chain" and "Number One" recorded in 1989 and also add then-new recording material "Send This Dedication". Good Blue-eyed Soul album of 2000.
