In 1978, "Seasons Of The Soul" was released as the first collaboration album of Michael and Stormie Omartian. Since then, Michael and Stormie released 4 collaboration albums in total; "The Builder" (1980), "Mainstream" (1982) and "Omartian Odyssey : The Musical Journey of Michael Omartian and Stormie Omartian" (1982). The 1980 album “Builder” is often said to be the best album of Michael Omartian as an artist, since it featured Jay Graydon on guitar in addition to beautiful Stormie’s lead vocals.

Stormie became known as a workout guru in the 1980’s, and gradually established her status as a best-selling Christian author who sold more than 32 million copies worldwide.

Michal continued to release solo albums in addition to his successful producing works. In 1983, the live album featuring Chapters Of Acts "Together Live" was released. The 1986 album "Conversations" was a kind of New Age instrumental album. One other instrumental album "Contemporary Mozart", classical piano album was released. Between those 2 instrumental albums, Michael released another solo album "Race" in 1991.
