The album "Rose" of Rosemary Butler (a well-known backing vocalist working with Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt) was originally planned and released only for Japanese market in 1983. In those era, Rosemary Butler was very active here in Japan with three Japanese movie theme songs such as "Call Of The World" for the movie "Winning Run" and/or "Children Of The Light" for the animated movie "Genma Taisen".
Almost a year later, the album was released also in USA by Capitol Records with different tracks. Speaking of 2000 reissued CD by Magic Records France, it was based on US edition.
