Al Jarreau / Tomorrow Today
We had to wait for Al Jarreau's new studio recording album "Tomorrow Today", the first release under Verve-GRP Records for more than 5 years when the album "Tenderness" was released in 1994, which was produced by Marcus Miller, the collection of classic songs from various music genre. After releasing the best album "Best Of Al Jarreau" in 1996, Jarreau left Warner Bros and then Al Jarreau returned with a little Westcoast/AOR atmosphere. "Tomorrow Today" in 2000. The album is opened by "Just To Be Loved", our Bill Champlin's tune already familiar among us by Bill's own solo version. Bill is taking part in this album as the background vocalist for the opening track. Al Jarreau would give us the good ballads "God's Gift To The World", duet with Vanessa Williams. This album is said to be the restart of our Al Jarreau for this new millennium. For the sake of good order, track 3 "Through It All" is the different song with the same title as Bill Champlin's.
