Lauren Wood / Lauren Wood featuring Novi & Ernie

0

Lauren Wood started her professional musical career as Chunky, a member of the group Chunky, Novi & Ernie, who had released their self-titled first album produced by Ted Templeman under Warner Bros in 1973. In 1977, the group also released another self-titled second album "Chunky, Novi & Ernie", but not successful in terms of commercial sales. The next effort of the trio was released as Lauren Wood featuring Novi & Ernie, giving spotlights to Lauren Wood with the great guest musicians such as Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons, Jeff Porcaro, Steve Lukather, Bill Champlin, Jay Graydon and many many more. The commercial result naturally followed, the album ranked number 24 on US album chart. In Japan, the album was released as Lauren Wood first solo album with different artworks deleting “featuring Chunky and Novi”.
