Jerry Corbetta got known by his activity with the band named "Sugerloaf" released the same title album including Billboard number 3 hit "Green-Eyed Lady" in 1970. Jerry disbanded Sugerloaf in 1977 and at the same time got the solo artist deal with Warner Bros. On this self-titled first solo album released in 1978, Corbetta revealed his talent as a singer-songwriter very much and you can enjoy not only Jay Graydon's exellent guitar but also well-known wonderful tune "I Wish That I Was Making Love (To You Tonight)" covered by Alessi in 1979. Fine Pop Westcoast album this is. In early 1980’s, Corbetta joined Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons as their singer and musical director, and remained with them through 1984. Corbetta had been diagnosed with Pick's disease in 2010, and died from the disease on 16 September, 2016, at the age of 68. R.I.P.
