When LaBounty started to prepare his second album, his contract with 20th Century Records was not yet terminated. As a result, Warner-Curb Records decided to acquire the contractual duties and rights from 20th Century, thus the second album “This Night Won’t Last Forever” featuring 4 self-remakes from the first album ‘Promised Love’. And the second album title sing “This Night Won’t Last Forever” was released as the last single records on 20th Century Records, but was just number 65 on Billboard Pop Chart for 2 weeks, but Michael Johnson also covers the same and this version ranked number 19 in1979.
