Sibling Revelry / Stonger
The second Sibling Revelry album “Stronger” followed in 1991. With the self-titled first album, this album was reissued on CD by Cool Sound, Japan on 25 December 1998 (COOL 019). As you see the credit as shown below, they had certain acclaimed Los Angeles top session musicians such as Abraham Laboriel, Justo Almario, Peter Sprague and David Huff. The result was really of high quality. Having said that, a cappella song “Jonah” is the highlight of this album, I think. It reminds listeners of Manhattan Transfer’s perfect harmony and the same time a kind of musical tune.
Again, this album was originally released only on cassette tape in 1991. 7 years later, COOL Sound, Japan firstly re-released the album on CD. Well done!
