Man Doki is Leslie Mandoki’s project with Laszlo Bencker. Leslie Mandoki escaped from Hungary to Munich, West Germany, through a tunnel from dictatorship and censorship into the freedom of the West in 1975, together with his Hungarian friends including Laszlo Bencker. Leslie Mandoki was a member of German disco band Dschinghis Khan formed to win Eurovision Song Contest 1979 with the same title song, with mega hits in many countries. With passion for the jazz rock of the 70s and progressive rock music, Then, Mandoki released his first solo album “Back to Myself” in 1982.
In 1991, Mandoki started the Soulmates project sprung from his passion for the jazz rock of the 70s and progressive rock music, with jazz and rock icon including Ian Anderson, Jack Bruce, and Al Di Meola.

In 1998, the collection CD taken from the albums: "Out Of Key ... With The Time" (1991), "People" (1993), "People In Room No.8" (1996) and "The Jazz Cuts" (1997) also with the new remarkable track featuring Bobby Kimball and Steve Lukather "I Lost My Heart In China". "I Lost My Heart In China" is the song inspired by Walt Disney Pictures' animated feature movie "MULAN". The rest of the tracks are also remarkable due to the guests musicians such as Bobby Kimball again, Nik Kershaw, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Rush, Mike Stern, Al Di Meola, The Brecker Brothers and Jack Bruce.
The CD single "I Lost My Heart In China" (Edel Records LC1666) (released on 12 October, 1998) includes 4 version of the song; "Radio Version", "Luke's Guitar Mix", "Album Version" and "Extended Mix".
