Various Artists/ Rock And Roll Doctor - Lowell George Tribute Album
The late Lowell George is known for his 1970's works as the primary member of the Legendary band "Little Feet". In 1979, after disbanding "Little Feet", Lowelll had started his solo career with the album "Eat It Here", but unfortunately he was gone during solo tour on June 29, 1979. The slide guitar he played was really very unique and nobody cannot play like him. This is a tribute album to Lowell George, featuring acclaimed artists such as J.D. Souther, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Randy Newman, Phil Perry, Valerie Carter and many others. Whilst Lowell George's music is categorized neither in Adult Contempory Music nor AOR / Westcoast, this tribute album must be worth being added to your music collection. Following Japanese edition, USA edition was released under the title “Rock And Roll Doctor - A Tribute To Lowell George”.
