Chauncey
During the extensive long touring with Chicago, Jason Scheff completed his first solo album. As the lead single from the album "Carry On c/w Fade To Black" was released on 22 October, in Japan. "Mah Jongg”,which original version should have been released on the famous then-unreleased Chicago's album "Stone of Sisyphus" earlier than this Jason’s solo version. On the album “Stone Of Sisyphus”, Bill Champlin took the lead vocal responsibility on it, this Jason’s version was an alternate one with different arrangement. The album title song “Chauncey” is dedicated to Scheff’s Dalmatian that passed away during the recording session at the age of seven, as the artwork shown.
