Middle Man
This album was released in 1980 produced by Bill Schnee following two acclaimed albums "Silk Degrees" (1976) and "Down To The Left" (1977), both of which were produced by Joe Wissert.
Whilst Jeff Porcaro, David Hungate, David Paich and Steve Lukather, Toto guys dedicated their abilities to Boz again, David Foster played key role on this album as a keyboard player, a arranger, and a co-songwriter. David Foster wrote or co-wrote 6 songs for this album such as Jojo, Breakdown Dead Ahead and You Can Have Me Anytime. The result of this chemistry was this masterpiece.
Meanwhile, it was 1 October, 1982 when we had the very first CD releases on earth (geographically in Japan). “Middle Man” was one of the first 50 titles: serial number 35DP3. (FYI, Billy Joel’s 78 album “52nd Street” was manufactured as the first title - 35DP1 then.)
