2000年6月27日のロンドンBBCラジオ・シアターでのライヴを収録したアルバム。最初に2000年にリリースされた“Bowie At The Beeb”の初回限定盤に15曲収録されて、2021年のボックス“Brilliant Adventure (1992-2001)”に完全収録された。
このライヴは、グラストンベリーの2日後に行なわれたシークレット・ライヴになっている。ボウイの歌声は疲れを感じられず、リラックスしているようだ。さらに、セット・リストを変更しているのもいい。
“This Is Not America”〜“Absolute Beginners”の流れは涙ものだ。実際に会場で聴いたら号泣するかもだ。“Starman”のイントロのギターがかっこいい‼︎
この頃から、キャリアを総括する感じで少しづつ動き始めていたのか？なんて、後付けだけど思いながら聴いている。
