The reason I got this casting is I think it is quite rare and it's nice to add a sports-themed car to my collection that isn't too tacky. The Yomiuri Giants are a baseball team from Tokyo and if I am not mistaken, they are one of the oldest sports teams in Japan. They are the most successful baseball team in Japan as they have won more than 20 Japan Series titles. The logos on this car say "2002 Giants" which is nice since the Yomiuri Giants won the Japan Series that year.
