This car won the race but around a month or so later, it was found that they had been running tire pressures that were lower than the minimum required pressure. This meant that they were able to generate tire temperature much faster than others who were abiding by the minimum pressure. This was a bit evident in the restarts because the Meyer Shank entry always managed to gap the opposition by more than a few seconds after just 1 lap. I am not exactly sure why but IMSA let the team still have the win but they deducted all the points they got as well as the prize money. I do feel that this also led to HPD dropping the team for the 2024 season although in the upcoming 2025 season, they will be reuniting with HPD and will be running 2 Acura ARX-06 cars.
