I've always been a fan of track-focused road cars like Caterhams. The Caterham casting by Matchbox was first released in 2010, coinciding with the point when I stopped collecting mainline stuff and focused on Jadas. I was actually regretting not being able to get at least one example back then so I am quite happy to have encountered someone selling this one and it was pretty cheap too! The seller sold it for almost half of what a Matchbox car normally retails in toy stores here. This specific example is the first release version by Matchbox and it's probably my favorite variation, along with the yellow and black release.
