いわゆるドラゴンタイプの怪獣に見えるが、モチーフはイモムシという元の生物をそのまま使わず新しい生き物にするという成田コンセプトの王道を行く。しかし何故かマイナー感も漂う。
足元にはこの回だけ登場する地底戦車のベルシダーがある。
一体は科特隊に倒されるが、さらに地中にもう一体おり、劇中2体登場する珍しい話だ。
